Salary: RPN $25.24–$30.76/hour – Based on experience

RN $35.02–$44.29/hour – Based on experience

Hours: 35 hours/week, 8:30a.m. – 4:30p.m., Monday – Friday, flexible to work evenings and weekends based on program requirements

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Community Health Program Coordinator, the Community Health Nurse (CHN) identifies, assesses, and responds to the health needs of Oneida Nation of the Thames population and collaborates with communities, families, individuals, professionals, organizations, and governments to meet those needs. The Community Health Nurse works within a multi-disciplinary environment and liaises with Oneida Nation of the Thames staff and other agencies to deliver programs and health promotion inclusive of all age groups including maternal/infant, child, school, adolescent, adult, and elder health.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A Diploma of Nursing or Degree in Nursing (BScN); OR
2. College Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing (RPN);
3. Current member, in good standing, with the College of Nurses of Ontario;
4. Previous work experience in Public Health and/or Community Health, an asset.
