Customer Service Representative – SIS Designate (FTO 40984)

Faculty of Science, Trades and Technology Operations

Location: London

Employment Group: Support

Hours: 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Pay Details: $26.47 per hour

This position is located at: School of Transportation Technology and Apprenticeship, 1764 Oxford Street, London, Ontario

Duties: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the incumbent provides customer service, secretarial and clerical support with primary responsibility as Divisional Student Information Systems (SIS) liaison for the School of Transportation Technology and Apprenticeship. The incumbent is the first point of contact for walk-in and telephone inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary 2-year diploma in Office Administration, or Business/Secretarial studies
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a team environment in an academic service office using a variety of computer software packages such as word processing and spreadsheets
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Familiarity with student information systems in a post secondary work environment would be an asset
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
