Data Entry Clerk

Compensation: $18.05/hour plus paid vacation time off, and comprehensive benefits package, including
RRSP matching after probation

Location: London, ON

Schedule: 40 hrs/week; onsite Monday to Friday during regular operating hours

Summary of Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Working in the finance department of a non-profit organization delivering services and supports for children, youth, and adults with complex needs, and their families/caregivers
  • Perform data entry and administrative tasks and supports with precise attention to detail and accuracy
  • Hands-on role, managing tasks in a fast-paced environment with defined priorities and fixed monthly deadlines
  • Collaborate with all Humana teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in the role and to to ensure best practices in managing data
  • Assist in organizing and categorizing data for easy access and analysis, as well as streamlining data entry process to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Work successfully with diverse groups and demonstrate commitment to principles of equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice

Qualifications:

  • Completion of secondary education diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) years of related experience; data-entry in a non-profit office setting is preferred
  • Reliable with a demonstrated commitment to being a dependable member of a team
  • Understanding of skills and knowledge requirements specific to the roles and responsibilities of the job
  • Outstanding in both verbal and written communication and people skills
  • Strong and practiced organization, multi-tasking and time-management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams, and independently as necessary
  • Comfort and aptitude to learn new software applications and platforms
  • Capacity to establish, implement, and maintain professional, and personal boundaries
  • Multilingualism and having diverse lived experiences are considered assets
  • Satisfactory Police Check completed within the last six (6) months (mandatory)
  • Physical Health assessment: verification of up-to-date immunizations, COVID vaccination status (2 doses), and ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (mandatory)
