Hours: 35 hours/week, 8:30a.m. – 4:30p.m., Monday – Friday

JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Ontario Works Program Manager, the Employment System Navigator will oversee and implement workshops and activities to prepare clients for employment and education; act as a knowledgeable resource to assist clients in accessing funding for education, employment and other social supports; navigate and improve existing programs and services to achieve employment outcomes and increase client’s employability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field (deemed relevant by interview committee).
- Minimum two (2) years employment experience in Ontario Works or a related field.
- Knowledge of the Ontario Works program, regulations, directives, an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
