Job Description

The Medical Transportation Van Driver is a key member of the Medical Transportation team, responsible for providing safe, courteous, and timely transportation for program clients. This role involves assisting clients with transportation to and from health facilities in London and the surrounding areas.Key responsibilities include adhering to the established pick-up and drop-off schedule, assisting clients in and out of the vehicle, ensuring the cleanliness of the vehicle, and completing log sheets after each trip.The Medical Van Driver must follow all vehicle safety and maintenance procedures, comply with the Ontario Highway Safety Act, and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of driving experience with a valid Class G Driver’s License is required.
  • Patient transportation experience is preferred.
  • A clean driving record is required.
  • A valid First Aid/CPR certificate is required.
