Position: Prevention Services Supervisor Reporting to: Director of Community and Social Services Term: Permanent Full-Time Division: Community and Social Services Salary: Competitive salary rangeHours: 40 hours per week, 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m., Monday to Friday, flexible to align with program requirements which will include some evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays Posting Date: June 17, 2024 Closing Date: June 28, 2024 at 4:30p.m. JOB SUMMARY: The Prevention Services Supervisor is responsible to coordinate the delivery and reporting of the Community Support Services and Prevention (Family Preservation) Programs to the Oneida Nation of the Thames members and surrounding community.This position will develop and maintain liaison with key programs and services to develop programming and support services necessary to ensure the full continuum of prevention services are available. The Prevention Services Supervisor will lead, support and guide the team to provide services while monitoring and evaluating the programs on a consistent basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor of Social Work Degree or equivalent.OR Minimum requirement of a college diploma in Social Services Worker, Human Services or related field.Two (2) years’ experience coordinating and/or managing social programs and services.One (1) year direct service experience with children and families.Experience working with First Nations people, organizations, and communities.Case management experience is preferred.Valid Class “G” Ontario driver’s license and use of company vehicle required.
