Note: This is a full-time Administrative position (37.5 hours per week).

Duties: 
Under the general direction of the Dean, Fanshawe International, the Senior Manager, International Enrollment and Business Process Solutions, is accountable for the effective operation of the internal administrative services which support international enrolment including admissions, budget, and service levels. The incumbent is responsible for planning, initiating, designing, evaluating and continuously improving international processes ensuring these are integrated across the institution and with the College’s private public partnership.

This role is responsible for identifying, customizing and operationalizing unique technology solutions/platforms (which integrate with the College’s Enterprise systems) related to international student service, payments, admissions, and enrollment management, enabling the College to meet strategic goals.

The role gathers and updates data to inform enrollment predictions informed by the incumbent with academic leaders at the College and acts as a resource to the applicant review process throughout the enrolment continuum. The incumbent is responsible for liaising with Associate Deans and Service Managers to advise on program/budget enrolment with applications, payments and predicted enrollment and solutions to potential change from external factors (visa processing slows or increases, economy collapses, federal government changes priority countries, immigration levels change) to mitigate loss or overage of international revenue.

As the Budget Manager for International, the position predicts and supervises outgoing international payments for vendors, external contractors, and educational agencies and advises the Dean of anomalies with recommended approaches.

 

This role also manages a team of international admissions officers who assess individual applications from international students applying from around the world and across multiple campuses to meet target/budget assumptions including the private partnership with the International Language Academy of Canada (Toronto).

Experience and Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary 4-year degree in a relevant field, including Public Administration, Business Administration, or Political Science
  • Education/training in job specific areas such as computer skills, project management, statistical analysis, strategic enrolment management in an international context, policy and service delivery principles and procedures
  • Minimum 7 years’ demonstrated experience with integrated student information systems (preference Colleague/International Student Data Base with commission function), customer information systems management and customer service principles
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Must be conversant with government and College policies and programs
  • Strategic enrolment management in leading international student admissions essential
  • Proven management experience with earned respect as a leader, visionary in the international arena with primary objective of managing enrolment towards achieving international enrolment targets
  • Superior knowledge/experience of predictive enrolment modelling combined with strategic thinking to evaluate implement change-management strategies/supporting services for expansion and change to increase opportunities to secure enrolment in target communities and countries and increase revenues
  • Leadership in managing International Admissions operations combined with relevant knowledge of regulatory policies/procedures/processes and other requirements for Canada and at offshore sites
