Atlohsa Family Healing Services is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join the Biigajiiskaan Healing Program as an Indigenous Wellness Worker. Reporting to the Biigajiiskaan Program Manager, the Indigenous Wellness Worker is responsible for case management for up to 15 lower acuity individuals, planning and facilitating group programming, and collaborating on events and wider community engagement programs.
Combining the very best of traditional healing medicine and knowledge with Western hospital-based healthcare and practices, Biigajiiskaan is an Indigenous-led mental wellness program grounded in a wholistic engagement approach to care. The program supports First Nations, Inuit, and Metis individuals who are experiencing severe, persistent mental health challenges and concurrent disorders.
