SOAHAC provides services to Indigenous people including those who live on and off reserve, status, non-status, Inuit, and Metis within the Southwest, Waterloo Wellington and Erie St Clair regions.  SOAHAC has a mandate of ensuring that health services are accessible, of high quality, and are culturally appropriate. It is SOAHAC’s objective to build health care capacity within Indigenous communities. Currently, we are seeking the services of a Traditional Healing Manager to join our interdisciplinary staff team based at our Chippewa Site.

This position champions innovative practices that bridge traditional and western health approaches, while addressing lateral violence and cross-cultural challenges in a respectful, solutions-focused manner.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and working closely with senior leadership, the Traditional Healing Manager is accountable for program planning, service quality, cultural governance in program delivery, and budget stewardship for the Traditional Healing portfolio.
