Hours of Work: 40 hours per week working onsite with rotating shifts

Summary:
The Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) provides nurturing, inclusive, and culturally grounded early learning and care for children within the Enji Maajtaawaad Early Years Centre. Working in partnership with families, colleagues, and community partners, the RECE creates developmentally appropriate, play-based, and language-rich learning environments that reflect Anishinaabe culture and values. The RECE follows all requirements of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, and the policies and procedures of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation (COTTFN).
