The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in promoting The Western Fair District’s events, experiences, and venues—from year-round programming to iconic moments like the annual Western Fair. You’ll plan, launch, optimize, and report on digital campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and ticket sales, while collaborating with a passionate, creative team.
What You’ll Do
As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll:
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing initiatives that support business goals and exciting event launches
- Own and manage paid digital campaigns across platforms like Google, Meta, and TikTok—from strategy to reporting
- Be the go-to digital expert for the Western Fair District website and microsites, updating content using a CMS while applying SEO and CRO best practices
- Dig into data by conducting audience research, competitive analysis, and keyword research to uncover new opportunities
- Collaborate creatively with our graphic designer to bring campaigns to life through compelling copy, visuals, and video
- Track performance and spot trends, using insights to recommend fresh ideas and improvements
- Define and report on KPIs, translating data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Help improve how we work, contributing to internal processes and standardized marketing procedures
- Measure ROI and performance across all digital platforms, delivering regular reports and recommendations
- Support integrated campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging across digital and traditional channels
- Contribute to team communications, including status updates and stakeholder meetings
- Pitch in when needed with social media posts and email campaigns, but you won’t be directly responsible for these channels
- Stay ahead of the curve by maintaining certifications and keeping up with the latest digital marketing trends and tools
- Be part of the action, providing on-site marketing support during events and special projects
What You’ll Get:
- Competitive Salary: $58,000 – $72,000, based on experience

Working Conditions
This is a full-time role (40 hours/week), typically Monday to Friday. Because we’re all about live events and unforgettable experiences, flexibility is key. Some evening and weekend work is required during major events like shows and the annual Western Fair.
