Job Title: Executive Director
The Youth Substance Addiction Committee Board of Directors are seeking a visionary leader who will join YSAC as the next Executive Director. YSAC is a National network of Independently governed Indigenous Treatment centres who work together on shared projects to improve frontline youth and family addiction services. The Executive Director is responsible for both strategic oversight and day-to-day operational performance. The successful candidate will strive to fulfill the strategic mission and vision of the organization and co-develop and execute strategic workplans that reflect the collaborative intentions of the YSAC board and committee.
Key responsibilities include specific activities in:
Leadership and Governance Development
Administration
Partnership and Promotion
Workforce Development, Training & Research
Data & Performance Measurement
Quality and Safety Initiatives
Location: Remote work-based position
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in human services or related field AND five-ten years’ direct work experience.
An appropriate combination of education and community based addictions experience will be considered.
The ability to speak/write in an Indigenous or multiple official languages of Canada will be considered an asset.

Knowledge and ability in strategic and operational planning
Strong commitment to lifelong learning
Strong project management skills
