RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assemble transformers according to specifications.
Own Tools/Equipment
• CSA Green Triangle / CSA White Rectangle, Steel-toed Safety Shoes/Boots required
Transportation/Travel Information
• Own Transportation
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
• Handling heavy loads; Physically Demanding; Manual Dexterity; Standing for extended periods; Bending, Crouching, Kneeling.
Personal Suitability
• Accurate, Team player; Excellent oral communication; Excellent written communication.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

Shift Schedule:
• Day Shift (8 hours): includes 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from 6:00am – 2:30pm OR 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Evening Shift (10 hours): includes 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday from 2:00pm – 12:00 Midnight. A 6pm dinner break is included as paid time for the evening shift employees.

REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings specifications.
• Must possess basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, conversions of fractions and decimals.
• Experience using electrical and manual tools (calipers, squares, etc.).
• Must be able to be certified as a FORKLIFT OPERATOR and OVERHEAD CRANE OPERATOR.
• Must be willing to work in other departments on a temporary basis as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
• Must be available to work all shifts – days, afternoons.

• Ability to achieve and maintain required productivity levels in a dynamic and challenging environment by effectively organizing, prioritizing, and executing tasks.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Capable of performing physical job requirements with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and consistently reach, bend, sit, stand and climb.
