Position: Debris Truck Driver/Site AttendantReporting to: Roads Supervisor                                                                Term: Permanent Full-TimeDivision: Public Works                        Salary: $20.00 per hourHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Posting Date: June 26, 2024                                                                                                             Closing Date: July 9, 2024 at 4:30p.m. JOB SUMMARY:   The Debris Truck Driver/Site Attendant is responsible for operating and performing debris truck driving duties in a safe and appropriate manner.  Responsible to clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by legislation, policies and procedures. Responsible to maintain and clean the solid waste depot site. The Debris Truck Driver/Site Attendant must interact with residents and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner.  This includes receiving complaints about schedules, levels, and quality of service.  The Debris Truck Driver/Site Attendant will direct community members to the appropriate area in which solid waste is to be disposed.

Experience and Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.Must possess and maintain a valid Class “D” with “Z” endorsement driver’s license.Experience with road maintenance/equipment operation, preferred.
