Annual Salary Range: $65,379 – $81,724

Indspire is seeking a Digital Marketing Lead. This role is responsible for the managing of Indspire’s social media presence, corporate website and digital marketing initiatives, including the coordination of graphic design and content creation. This role will be accountable for designing, monitoring, and reporting on all digital marketing activities. Accountable for the growth of Indspire’s digital presence as part of Indspire’s Communications and Marketing strategy, the role also maintains content development and digital branding guidelines for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growing Indspire’s digital presence and social media following using the latest platforms and content types.
  • Planning, executing and reporting on social media strategy and engagement campaigns that attract stakeholders and support fundraising including focus that engages First Nations, Inuit and Métis, communities, and post-secondary education institutions.
  • Accountable for the monitoring and analysis of Indspire’s digital analytics tools, reporting monthly and quarterly on KPI’s.
  • Developing content that shares Indspire’s impact on Indigenous issues across all digital and social media channels.
  • Maintaining presence across all relevant social media platforms, including writing content and relevant digital imagery.
  • Creating graphics for posters and other materials.
  • Ensuring adherence to sponsor recognition guidelines and branding standards, including colours, font, logos, headers, images and proofreading for brand accuracy.
  • Developing signage, posters, ads for print/online and social media posts for all events.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with key partner and vendor/agency stakeholders.
  • Maintaining catalogued image library.
  • Responsible for relevant expenses, reconciliations, and invoicing within job scope.
  • Soliciting and/or developing content for department event calendar and distributes same.

Experience and Qualifications

Qualifications

  • College diploma in graphic design, marketing, media, or equivalent experience.
  • Progressive experience with 3 years+ experience in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of the issues affecting Indigenous peoples and experience in Indigenous communities strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated openness to learning and willingness to engage in cultural competency training.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and working knowledge of HTML and CSS, along with proficiency in Google Analytics, Adwords, Facebook and Instagram marketing campaigns.
  • Design skills with ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
  • Demonstrates superior organizational skills with ability to multitask.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work occasional evening and weekends with ability to travel frequently across Canada as required.
  • Technical knowledge in photography and videography an asset.
  • Ability to work in French is an asset.
