Job Description

Oneida Nation of the Thames is a First Nation Settlement located near the City of London, Ontario. Standing Stone School offers FDK through Grade 6 programming for approximately 190 students.The Food Preparation Worker/Cook plays a key role in supporting student wellness and overall community development by ensuring that approximately 190 students at Standing Stone School receive universal access to healthy, nutritious meals each day, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks.This position is responsible for food preparation, tracking and maintaining daily program statistics, and identifying opportunities to increase participation and parental involvement.This program will be regularly evaluated to assess its impact on student attendance, behavior, attention, health, and academic success.

Experience and Qualifications

EDUCATION:Post-Secondary Certificate or Diploma in Food Services is preferred.Valid Safe Food Handling certification is required.Current First Aid/CPR certification is required.EXPERIENCE:At least one (1) year of work experience in food services.
