Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre (SOAHAC) is a diverse, dynamic, multiservice Indigenous health and wellness agency. SOAHAC provides services to Indigenous people including those who live on and off reserve, status, non-status, Inuit, and Metis within the Southwest, Waterloo Wellington and Erie St Clair regions. It is SOAHAC’s objective to build health care capacity within Indigenous communities.
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our collaborative HR team. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role plays a key part in delivering timely, high-quality HR services to managers and staff across multiple sites.
The HR Generalist will support full-spectrum HR functions—including recruitment, employee relations, policy and compliance, training support, and HRIS oversight—ensuring alignment with SOAHAC’s organizational goals, legislative requirements, and values of cultural safety and equity. This position is ideal for a relationship-driven HR professional who is passionate about service excellence, operational efficiency, and Indigenous health and wellness.
