Job Description

Position: Medical Transportation Van Driver Term: Permanent Part-Time

Division: Health/Medical Transportation Salary: $18.36/hour

Hours: Hours vary based on client medical appointments, between Monday – Saturday, 6:00a.m. to 11:00p.m.

Posting Date: November 8, 2023 Closing Date: November 21, 2023 at 4:30p.m.

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Medical Transportation Coordinator, the Medical Transportation Van Driver works as part of the Medical Transportation team providing safe, courteous and timely transportation for clients of the program. This position assists clients to and from health facilities in London and surrounding areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A minimum of two (2) years driving experience with a valid G license, required;
  2. Patient transportation experience, preferred;
  3. Must have a clean driver’s abstract;
  4. Must have a valid First-Aid/CPR certificate.

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO STARTING EMPLOYMENT:

  1. The successful candidate must submit a recent (completed within 6-months) Vulnerable Sector CPIC, at own expense;
  2. The successful candidate must submit a copy of applicable educational qualifications (certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.).
