Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m., must be flexible to align work schedule with program requirements which will include some evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays

JOB SUMMARY:
The Office Assistant will provide a range of high-level administrative, financial, and program support for the Economic Development and Community Centre programs. This role ensures the smooth operation of daily activities and supports with various tasks.Responsibilities include managing communications, preparing reports, coordinating special projects, and handling scheduling and travel arrangements. The Office Assistant will serve as the main contact for staff, vendors, and clients, as well as support facility bookings and community events.The position also involves assisting with budget preparation, processing financial records, and generating reports. The Office Assistant will maintain filing systems, manage office inventory, and support the development of policies and procedures.
