The Recreation and Wellness Worker Trainee is responsible for overseeing, leading, and organizing programs and events for children and youth aged 0 to 17. Key duties include engaging with participants to understand their needs and interests, providing guidance and direction, implementing behaviour management strategies, and promoting active participation in all activities. This role ensures that all programs and events foster social, physical, cognitive, and emotional development while adhering to relevant policies and procedures. Additionally, this position is accountable for the safety, security, and well-being of all program participants.
