SFNS Economic Toolkit (SET)
Reports to and acts under the direction and approval of the Division Manager III. Prepares draft plan approval conditions for land development projects. Reviews, analyzes and/or recommends acceptance of municipal servicing design drawings and various engineering reports and studies. Reviews applications under provincial legislation as part of the Transfer of Review Program. Reviews, monitors security and ensures compliance of Subdivision, Servicing and Reference Plan Agreements. Responsible for office and field duties related to engineering servicing of subdivision and land development.
Three year Community College Civil Engineering Diploma recognized by Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technician and Technologist (OACETT).
Two years’ related experience.
Skills and abilities in the following areas are necessary:
Member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) or Associate Member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) with full membership as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) completed within three years from date of hire.
Demonstrated proficiency in wordprocessing, spreadsheets and various software.
Valid Driver’s Licence – Class G.
$56,941 – $82,736 (Level 14)
This posting is for 1 temporary full-time (up to 2 years) position.
Current hours of Work: Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Work Arrangement: In office/Hybrid, in office and working from home/Remote, working more than 50% remotely
These hours of work are subject to change in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
