SFNS Economic Toolkit (SET)
The Youth Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Youth Services and Post Majority Care programs for Oneida Nation of the Thames community and membership. This position supports staff in developing and implementing responsive services for youth, ensuring that a full continuum of services is available. The Youth Services Supervisor will collaborate with key programs and services to develop and deliver necessary programming and support services. Additionally, the supervisor will guide, lead, and support team members while consistently monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness.The youth services are designed to meet the needs of all youth, with a particular focus on Post Majority Care support. The goal is to ensure youth are successfully transitioning into adulthood and out of the child welfare system and/or providing support to those who have recently left the child welfare system.Not limited to post-majority care supports, the Youth Services Supervisor ensures that youth members of Oneida Nation of the Thames have access to services that enhance their overall well-being. These services include counselling, mental health and addictions support, housing assistance, transition services, case management, speech and language services, life skills development, financial literacy, and advocacy.
